David Beckham has agreed a multi-year sponsorship deal to become Sainsbury’s new brand ambassador. Beckham replaces Jamie Oliver, the celebrity chef, who had already announced that he was not continuing his long-standing relationship with the brand beyond this year.
As part of the deal, Beckham will front the company’s ‘Active Kids’ campaign, as well as being its ambassador for the 2012 Paralympic Games.
