The World Squash Federation has announced its ‘Back the Bid 2020’ campaign, aimed at gathering support for the sport’s inclusion in the Olympic Games programme from 2020.
Squash will face competition for a place at the 2020 Games. Other sports seeking recognition by the IOC include the martial arts of karate and wushu, roller sports, baseball, softball, wakeboarding and sport climbing.
