Westfield has been confirmed as the Official Shopping Centre Developer of London 2012, in a tier three deal. This takes the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) past its target of £700m raised from national sponsors.
As part of the deal, Westfield will be opening the first ever Team GB and Paralympics GB merchandise shop in its new shopping centre adjacent to the Olympic Park. Westfield is also providing facilities to LOCOG to support the operation and management of the Games.
