The Brief
AC Milan is a giant of world football. When the club decided to partner with a sleeve sponsor for the first time, crypto trading business BitMEX engaged TSC Legal to run the transaction that would see it joining the top tier of club partners.
The Solution
Alongside our Consulting colleagues, TSC Legal evaluated the AC Milan sponsorship rights package proposal and shaped it to fit the needs of BitMEX. Operating from our London base, on a project that saw contributions from individuals in Italy, Hong Kong and Germany, TSC Legal worked through several rounds of negotiation and drafting.
Deadlines were tight, as the contract had to be concluded in time to allow the club’s shirt manufacturer to include the BitMEX branding on playing jerseys and replicas. In a collaborative process, the parties expedited negotiations and TSC Legal ensured that both the club’s deadlines and our client’s contractual requirements were met and that the strong relationship between club and sponsor flourished.
