Kirsten has over 12 years’ experience in legal, consulting, major events and sport.

She specialises in supporting rights holder clients to design practical, implementable and measurable business and commercial strategy. She believes in having an ambitious and realistic strategy but also ensuring that organisations are set up to deliver success through the right governance structures, operating models and organisation designs.

She also advises public and private institutional investors on their investments in sport.

Her recent and current clients include Abu Dhabi Sports Council, NEOM, World Athletics, European Aquatics, British Cycling, UCI Cycling World Championships 2023, Rugby League World Cup, the Kuwait FA, the FIA, The FA, UK Sport, EventFlanders, and the International Tennis Federation.

Kirsten spent five years in New Zealand where she led the Major Events Feasibility team at Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development developing and implementing events strategy. At PwC New Zealand, she advised sports sector clients including New Zealand Major Events, the New Zealand Olympic Committee and Sport NZ on operational effectiveness, operating model and organisation design.

Kirsten is legally qualified, training at Magic Circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before being seconded to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
