We are excited to share that TSC Impact, guided by Associate Director @ Daniel Fujiwara, are the Monitoring & Evaluation Partner for Grand Départ GB 2027.
In summer 2027, the UK will host the Grand Départ of both the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift – the first time in history both races have departed from the same country outside France. Alongside the racing, the landmark JOY social impact programme will be delivered across the UK.
Our role is to undertake the evaluation to estimate spectator numbers and assess the economic, social and media impacts of what will be the biggest ever free-to-spectate sporting event in the UK’s history – developing impact reports that help to tell the story of the people and places the event touches.
We are proud to have Dr Daniel Fujiwara as our Director for this project, integrating his industry-leading social value methodologies for valuing wellbeing and non-market outcomes into our evaluation.
