Gatorade is launching an action sport sponsorship campaign featuring action sports athletes including 14-year-old skateboarder Chaz Ortiz; snowboarder Ellery Hollingsworth and BMX star Nigel Sylvester.
Traditionally a sponsor of MLB, NBA and NFL stars, the move marks an expansion of the drinks brand into this new category of sports.
