Our rights marketing division, established just three years ago by Director Rights Marketing, Marc Hope is delighted to mark its 100th sponsorship deal following the recent announcement of BP as an event partner to the Anniversary Games, supporting the Para Athletics events.
With the inaugural deal coming from dairy brand Muller around the Rio Olympics, Hope has subsequently developed the brand into a major, multi-year British Athletics partner and over the last three years has brought them into all the other World Championship Athletics events staged in the UK.
The business has firmly established itself as a rights marketing specialist in Major Events and Olympic and Commonwealth sports having also represented and secured numerous agreements for the IAAF World Championships London 2017, World Para Athletics Championships London 2017, IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018, British Athletics, Team Scotland, Great City Games, British Eventing, the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), Volvo Ocean Race and Edinburgh’s Christmas and Hogmanay.
With new appointments in Cycling with the UCI 2019 Road World Championships, Yorkshire, Equestrian, Swimming, two of Scotland’s largest events in 2019 with the European Athletics Indoor Championships, Glasgow 2019 and LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships, Glasgow 2019 and on-going relationships such as that with British Athletics as they prepare to host the inaugural Athletics World Cup event in London in July 2018, the deal making looks set to continue.
