The Sports Consultancy is a fast growing boutique London Hq’d agency with a portfolio of blue chip International and National Federations and Major Events.

We are looking for a Rights Marketing Sales Executive to proactively prospect, armed with provided insight and research, to attract potential sponsors to our range of Properties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To proactively prospect, armed with insight and research, to attract potential sponsor matches to the range of Properties that The Sports Consultancy represent;
  • To make meeting appointments, on the phone etc., with a view to meeting to explore synergies between each brand and the relevant Property;
  • To follow through with attending meetings, working with Rights Marketing Director and others;
  • To help create and present well researched and tailored insight-led sponsorship propositions for relevant brand sponsors that put the sponsorship rights and benefits at the centre of the delivery of their brand, business and marketing objectives;
  • To provide the Director Rights Marketing with regular updates on sales activity, meetings and pipelines.

  • Ability to prospect and deliver appointments under pressure
  • Strong telephone skills to deliver results and confirmed meetings
  • Ability to communicate at all levels including at Board level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Consultative/creative selling skills based on identifying a company’s objectives rather than focusing just on the property’s strengths
  • Familiar with latest social media/ digital developments

Qualifications:

  • Degree level
  • Strong IT proficiency including with PowerPoint and other Office packages

Package:

  • Basic plus sales bonus scheme to be discussed
